NEUHAUS NEOTEC has always been committed to developing energy-saving and thus environmentally friendly solutions and thanks to innovative ideas was able to minimise the environmental impact. The energy balance of our roasters is definitely one of the best on the market.

To achieve this primary goal, our roasters offer the following solutions:

  • Optimum heat transmission and air ducting
  • Low roasting temperature
  • No mechanical agitating or beating tools
  • No water quenching in the roaster required
  • Very low percentage of exhaust air compared to other systems

As an option, energy can be saved by preheating the coffee batch and the combustion air. By means of RTO systems, exhaust heat can be made available for further processes.

For exhaust air treatment we offer, both for new installations and for upgrading existing plants, comprehensive customized solutions based on the applicable legal requirements and the different types of emission:

  • hydrocarbons and carbon oxide compounds
  • nitrogen oxides
  • dust
  • odour
  • noise

We use environmentally competitive materials for our plants.
