On 14 September, the Executive Committee of the German Coffee Association was a guest at Neuhaus Neotec in Ganderkesee for the regular meeting of the association. The participants represented the entire industry in its entire spectrum, from logistics to green coffee trade to the various refinement processes.

Managing Director Victoria Behrmann, in her dual role as board member and host, took the opportunity to demonstrate the diverse coffee processing possibilities at Neuhaus Neotec. With great interest, the participants visited the technical centre and parts of the production and got an insight into the product variety of Neuhaus Neotec as well as the company sisters within the KAHL Group. Demonstration stations in the innovation centre were the fluidised bed process for 3in1 products, for example, the extraction plant for the extraction and concentration of coffee aromas, the freeze-drying plant, the pelletisation of residual components from the roasting and extraction process and, of course, the roasting technology itself. Both roasting technologies provided by Neuhaus Neotec, the traditional drum roasting as well as the RFB roasting technology, could be marvelled at on large plants in production. Thus, after the tour, the participants were able to dive into the subsequent Presidium meeting with many new impressions of plant engineering for the coffee industry.
