Pilot Plant

NEUHAUS NEOTEC customers can benefit from a unique pilot plant with different procedures and analysis methods for the processing of coffee and many other foodstuffs. Experienced roasting masters, millers and process engineers are available to help you to develop and optimize your processes. 

Our portfolio includes the following services and technical equipment:

  • Laboratory grinder with a wide range of roll corrugations
  • Roasting centre with the specialty roasters RG and NEOROAST, laboratory roasters RFB Junior and RFB-S as well as the shop roaster 
  • Pilot plant for extraction and freeze drying, Cold Brew
  • Laboratories for particle technology with fluidised bed plants for continuous and batch operation
  • Cupping room with all commercially available coffee makers. Our roasting masters will taste the coffees together with you, advise you on recipe development and show you the many variations of roasting with the RFB hot air roasting system
  • Analysis laboratory, e.g. for the determination of particle distributions, moisture content of powders, roasting colours and bulk densities
