Part of Nestlé's new strategy is to work more closely with its main suppliers such as NEUHAUS NEOTEC. In this context, Dobrev made it clear that all coffee roasters for the Nestlé Group would continue to come from NEUHAUS NEOTEC. The workshop also focused on the question to what extent the successful cooperation can be extended to the other companies of the KAHL Group.
In this context, the efficiency of the respective companies was presented to Stefan Dobrev in order to develop approaches for a potential cooperation. In addition to the so-called Cold Brew Process (coffee preparation with cold water), the participants also discussed alternative proteins for food production. Micro-encapsulation of flavours, problem solutions in the processing of used packaging materials and new application possibilities for deep-freeze technologies in the pet food sector were also on the agenda.
According to his own statements, Stefan Dobrev did not expect this multitude of processes and machines from the KAHL Group and was positively surprised. The technologies of the KAHL Group as well as the networking with research institutes and universities made him confident that the cooperation with Nestlé would be intensified in the future.
