The Neuhaus Neotec team from the speciality roaster segment had the pleasure of welcoming a group of participants from the different fields of the speciality scene to the Ganderkesee location for an exclusive roasting event on 14.06.2022.
The marketing team led by Lars Henkel and Vivien Paul received active support from Paolo Scimone, who supports and trains young entrepreneurs from the speciality scene worldwide as a consultant and with his own roasting company. After a relaxed come-together dinner the evening before in the coffee city of Bremen, the event began the next day with a detailed introduction to the world of RFB roasting technology. Paolo examined all aspects of the influencing parameters from the raw material quality to the roasting influences. The subsequent roasting workshop was held in the in-house showroom on the 15 kg NEOROAST. The participants were able to familiarise themselves with the roasting technique and experiment with their own roasting profiles.
The event was completed by François Cremieux from the Hamburg-based green coffee trader InterAmerican Coffee with a cupping of some varieties already roasted the day before. François discussed with the participants the different flavours produced by NEOROAST's special spectrum of roasting profile possibilities.
